Organic Rapadura Sugar
Organic Rapadura Sugar is the dried natural juice of the sugar cane.
Rapadura sugar is not separated from its molasses content and thus retains many vitamins and minerals. This sugar is naturally processed and free of chemicals. Rapadura contains a higher mineral content than regular sugar. Some of these minerals include potassium, magnesium, sodium, calcium and iron.
Organic Rapadura Sugar is a versatile sweetener that can substitute regular sugar in many recipes. Rapadura Sugar is most commonly used to make sweet foods such as cakes, muffins, raw treats, cookies and brownies. It also adds a nice sweet touch to hot beverages like coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Rapadura sugar can also be used in savoury recipes including curries and stews.
We recommend storing in an airtight container in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. For those in warm climates, refrigeration is recommended.
