Ingredients - dry:
- 1 cup raw macadamias
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 8 cardamom pods, seeds only
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1.5 tsp ground cardamom
- pinch Himalayan salt
- 1/2 cup dates
- 6 dried bananas, chopped
Ingredients - wet:
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp rose water
- for rolling
- 1/4 cup fine desiccated coconut
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
Method:
Blitz dry ingredients in a food processor, until you get a crumbly texture, slowly add the dried bananas and dates in batches. Add the coconut oil and rose water until the mixture comes together. If it’s still dry, add 1 tbsp water. Mix the turmeric powder and fine desiccated coconut in a bowl set aside. Roll the ladoo mixture into balls and then dust with the coconut / turmeric mixture. Keep in a airtight container in the fridge.
