Organic Macadamia Nuts are native to Australia. These nuts were a staple food source of local indigenous peoples long before European settlers stumbled upon them.
Macadamias are extremely nutritious, they contain the highest amount of beneficial monounsaturated fats of any known nut. This is a healthy fat that may be beneficial for heart health and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. Macadamias are a great source of antioxidants and contain important minerals and vitamins including manganese, thiamine, copper, magnesium, iron and vitamin B6.
Organic Macadamia Nuts have a subtle buttery flavour and crisp, creamy texture. They can be enjoyed raw, roasted or activated and make a perfect snack, addition to muesli, smoothie bowls, baked goods, salads or part of a trail mix.
