Kelp Meal
Kelp Meal is sourced from the western coast of Tasmania and Victoria. It is then dried by a natural drying process in a shed under sunlight, at a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. It is then crushed by machine and organically processed, without any preservatives, stabilizers or chemicals added and packaged at a facility which then certifies that it is food safe and fit for consumption.Sea kelp (seaweed) contains more than 60 essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements and is increasingly being recognized as an important natural source of vital nutritional requirements. Sea kelp is actually the richest known source of natural (organic) iodine, which is vital for the prevention and treatment of iodine deficiencies. Sea kelp also contains magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, potassium, zinc and natural sea salt.
