Organic Australian White Quinoa
Quinoa is a seed originating from South America that formed a staple food of the Inca civilisation. It contains high levels of protein. Quinoa also provides starch, sugars, oil, fibre and vitamins and many other nutrients such as iron, copper and phosphorus. To cook quinoa, use the same method as white rice - double water to quinoa and boil 10 minutes. Quinoa has a light fluffy texture when cooked, and has a mild nutty flavour.
