Organic Austrian Pepitas
Organic Austrian Pepitas are the inner part of edible pumpkin seeds. They have been consumed for centuries for their nutritious properties and delectable flavour and texture. These pepitas have been sourced from Austria and are certified organic.
Organic Pepitas are known for containing a good range of certain amino acids, essential fatty acids, protein and are over 50% unsaturated fat. Pepitas are also a good source of minerals and vitamins including zinc, iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, B vitamins and vitamin E.
Organic Austrian Pepitas can be enjoyed in many different ways. Pepitas are most commonly consumed raw but can also be sprouted, activated or roasted. They make a great snack with other nuts and seeds. They are also a delicious addition to salads or as a topping for breakfast cereal.
NOTE: Sprout ability is subject to the quality of each batch.
We recommend storing seeds well sealed either, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight or in the fridge (especially for those in warmer climates).
