Organic Guar Gum Powder
Organic Guar Gum comes from guar beans which is the seed of a legume plant. Guar gum is a natural gum and is an edible thickener, emulsifier and stabiliser agent used in baking.
Guar Gum is high in fibre therefore may assist in improving digestive health, decreasing blood sugar, blood cholesterol, appetite and calorie intake.
Organic Guar Gum is plant based and naturally gluten free. It is used in both sweet and savoury recipes to thicken, bind and emulsify. It is commonly used in gluten free baking recipes such as cookies, cupcakes, bread and cakes. Guar Gum doesn’t need to be heated to thicken. So it can be used in cold or hot dishes like thickening sauces or dressings. It can also be used to achieve the desired consistency of frozen desserts such as smoothies, ice cream and popsicles.
