Local, Organic Farmer profile - Mitch and his vibrant seasonal produce
Mitch (owner and operator at Rabbit Finger Farms) has been growing seasonal herbs and vegetables for all three stores for several years and has a long-standing relationship with Santos Organics. Currently he is regularly supplying the Byron town and Mullumbimby stores.
The most common lines that Mitch stocks at Santos Organics includes rocket, coriander, parsley, eggplant and kale but he also enjoys growing a wide range of other produce for Santos Organics to keep it interesting.
Mitch farms on 1.5 acres around 4km from the Mullumbimby store and 11km from the Byron Bay town store, outside and in a poly tunnel which has saved his produce from sustaining damage over the past 6 months with all the heavy rains and severe weather that the region has been experiencing.
Mitch delivers to our Mullumbimby and Byron Bay town stores on Mondays and Thursdays. Come in and try some of his vibrant, healing produce! Check in with our friendly Produce Manager to find out more about which produce in-stores is grown by Mitch!
