Start the New Year on a healthy note with this refreshing green smoothie, boosted with a hint of your favourite superfoods to kick off your post holiday detox!
Makes: 2 smoothies
Preparation time: 5 minutes
- 3.5 frozen bananas
- 1 large handful spinach
- 2 tspn turmeric powder
- Zest of 1/2 orange
- 6 dates
- 1.5- 2 cups coconut water (depending on how thick you want it )
- 1 tsp of your favourite green superfood powder: spirulina, wheat grass powder or barley grass powder.
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
