Organic White Khorasan Flour
Organic White Khorasan Flour, also known as Kamut flour, is made from high quality Australian grown Khorasan wheat grain. Khorasan is an ancient grain that is gaining popularity, both as a grain and flour, due to its high nutrition levels and superior flavour.
Khorasan is high in zinc, magnesium, B vitamins, Vitamin E, protein, amino acids and essential fatty acids. It is highly water soluble, therefore the grain's vital substances can be absorbed quickly by our bodies. Khorasan also has a higher content of protein than regular wheat. Khorasan is easier to digest than wheat and some people with wheat sensitivities may tolerate it in their diet.
Organic White Khorasan Flour is most commonly used to make bread but is also great to make food such as cookies, waffles, pizza bases, muffins, crackers and cakes.
