Greenwood Juice Apple Cloudy 1lt

$12.95

Single-ingredient apple juice from a fourth-generation Victorian orchard that has been farming biodynamically since 1965.

Greenwood Orchards Biodynamic Cloudy Apple Juice is pressed from 100% certified biodynamic apples grown at Merrigum in Victoria's Goulburn Valley. The orchard has been run by the Greenwood family since 1906, currently in its fourth generation under Lynton and Joan Greenwood and their children. They grow across several heritage and modern varieties including Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Pink Lady, Fuji, Braeburn, Royal Gala, and Sundowner.

The juice is cloudy because it's unfiltered, leaving the natural apple solids in suspension. Filtering strips the juice of flavour and nutrients in exchange for a clearer appearance. This one tastes like pressing your face into a barrel of fresh-picked apples. It's gently pasteurised at the lowest possible temperature to retain quality, with no additives, no preservatives, and nothing else added.

Biodynamic certification (Demeter) goes beyond organic. Where organic farming prohibits synthetic inputs, biodynamic farming treats the entire farm as a living ecosystem, with specific preparations, lunar planting calendars, and soil health practices that build long-term fertility rather than just avoiding chemicals. Demeter is the oldest organic certification body in the world.

About Greenwood Orchards

Greenwood Orchards has been farming in Merrigum, Victoria since 1906, currently managed by the fourth generation of the Greenwood family. The orchard is Demeter certified biodynamic and produces whole fruit and fruit juices from apples and pears grown without synthetic inputs, pesticides, or herbicides. The juice processing plant on the orchard presses and pasteurises each season's harvest on-site, so the juice goes from tree to bottle without leaving the property.
