We haven’t forgotten about the vegans either! If you’re wanting to whip up a vegan stir fry sauce, we have vegan fish sauce and vegan soy sauce.
The old peanut butter has become more than just part of a soggy sandwich in the lunchbox. Nut butters are now a legitimate health food because they’re high in protein, antioxidants, phytochemicals, and have lots of healthy unsaturated fats.
Some supermarket nut butters contain preservatives and extra oils like palm oil or rapeseed oil to make it easier to spread. Our organic nut butters don’t contain any of these nasties.
If you want the healthiest nut butter to eat, we consider almond butter slightly healthier thanks to its higher healthy fat content.
There are so many ways to use organic nut butters. You can use Macadamia spread as an alternative to butter, so you can spread it on your toast and you can also cook with it.
You can stir organic peanut butter into sauces for added thickness and flavour. You can also pair it with snacks such as apple slices or cheese for an additional protein punch.
If you or your family are allergic to peanuts or tree nuts, you can always use organic tahini which is a seed butter. It’s a popular organic sauce for meat and vegetables in middle eastern cuisine and is great in hummus.
After opening, store your organic sauce and spreads in a sealed container and refrigerate.
It’s also important to note that many spreads such as nut butters can separate in the jar. This is totally normal! Just give them a good stir before you spread them on your toast.
