Eat To Live Buckwheat Cakes with Hemp 220g
A crisp, earthy buckwheat cake seasoned with hemp seeds and oregano. Four ingredients, made in South Murwillumbah in the Northern Rivers - less than an hour from Byron Bay.
Eat to Live Buckwheat Cakes with Hemp are the most savoury of the Eat to Live range. Where the Plant Omegas are a neutral, mildly nutty cake suited to any topping, the Hemp variant adds oregano alongside the hemp seeds, giving the cake a distinctly savoury, herbal character that pairs particularly well with cheese, avocado, dips, and Mediterranean-style toppings. The hemp seeds add a subtle earthiness and a slightly softer bite in contrast to the crisp buckwheat base.
Hemp seeds have a mild, nutty flavour with a soft texture - different from the crunch of chia or the slightly bitter edge of flaxseed. Combined with the earthy, herbal note of oregano and the nutty base of buckwheat, this is the Eat to Live cake for savoury eaters.
Like the rest of the Eat to Live range: buckwheat is not a grain and not related to wheat - it's the seed of a flowering plant, naturally gluten free and tested as such. Gluten not detected.
