Organic Chana Dhal
Organic Chana Dhal is baby chickpeas that have been split and polished. They are low in fat, high in complex carbohydrates and contain some zinc, folate and calcium. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine chickpeas benefit the pancreas, stomach and heart.
Chana Dhal is a traditional Indian dish. Enjoy this delicious and nutritious meal with many different variations of rich spices and vegetables.
NOTE: Before use, all beans should be soaked in cold water overnight or for at least ten hours. Make sure you cover the beans with a large volume of water because they will swell up considerably. When ready to cook, discard the soaking water and briefly rinse the beans under running water. However, chana dhal does not require as much time to soak as whole chickpeas.
We recommend storing them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
