Alchemist Organics Organic Turkesterone is formulated from Ajuga Turkestanica, a flowering plant native to Central Asia that has been the subject of growing research interest as a source of naturally occurring ecdysteroids. Turkesterone is the primary active compound - a naturally occurring ecdysteroid compound found in the plant's leaves and stems. This formulation standardises the extract to 40% turkesterone by HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography), a precision testing method that confirms active compound concentration rather than relying on dry weight alone.
The formula is complexed with Hydroxypropyl-β-Cyclodextrin to improve solubility, and paired with Black Pepper Extract (Piper nigrum, standardised to 95% piperine) at 5mg per capsule.
