Ceres Organics Sunflower Seed Butter 220g

$9.95

A smooth, creamy spread made from lightly roasted organic sunflower seeds with a touch of sea salt. The nut-free alternative to peanut and almond butter.

Ceres Organics Sunflower Seed Butter is made from just three certified organic ingredients: sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, and sea salt. The seeds are lightly roasted before pressing, which develops a warm, mildly nutty flavour without the heaviness of some nut butters. The texture is smooth and spreadable straight from the jar, with a subtle toasted seed character and a clean, slightly savoury finish from the sea salt.

Sunflower seed butter is the go-to spread for households managing nut allergies, school lunchbox restrictions, or anyone who simply prefers a lighter, less intense spread than peanut or almond butter. It behaves almost identically to peanut butter in cooking and baking, making it a reliable 1:1 substitute in most recipes.

BioGro certified organic and GE-free by Ceres Organics New Zealand.

Love sunflower seed butter

Just love this butter. It was the first time I have tasted sunflower seeds as butter, and for me the nutty smooth spread was delightful. Although it is nutty, it is different to other butters such as almond or peanut. It's rich and I often use a scrape on toast instead of dairy butter. It combines well with toast toppers like jam. There are other ways to use it, such as adding to salad dressings for a creamy texture.
