Mekhala Tikka Masala 100g
A bright, fragrant Indian tikka masala paste built on organic tomatoes, ginger, garlic, turmeric, and a blend of red and green chillies. Mild heat, dairy free, no cream required. Stone-ground and concentrated for 8-10 serves per 100g jar.
Tikka masala typically relies on cream or yoghurt for richness - Mekhala’s paste delivers the concentrated spice and tomato base without any dairy, leaving the richness up to your own cooking liquid (coconut milk, coconut cream, or stock). The tomato-forward base with coriander, lime juice, and jasmine rice vinegar gives a brighter, more acidic character than butter masala, with mild chilli heat.
Rated mild on Mekhala’s heat scale - one step up from the heat-free butter masala but still accessible for most palates.
