$5.75

Grade A Gold certified organic sushi nori. Ten full-size sheets per pack, ACO certified, no preservatives, no artificial additives. Clean, crisp, deeply umami.

Kura Organic Sushi Nori is Grade A Gold - the highest quality classification in the nori grading system, which assesses colour depth, texture, flavour intensity, and aroma. Grade A Gold nori is characterised by its deep, dark green-black colour, smooth surface, satisfying crispness, and the rich, clean umami flavour of authentic Japanese nori. Lower grades are lighter in colour, thinner, and more prone to tearing.

One ingredient: 100% organic roasted seaweed. No preservatives, no artificial flavours, no artificial colours, no GMO. ACO certified organic (Certificate No. 11430).

Ten full-size sushi sheets per 28g pack, sized for standard sushi rolls and handrolls. Each sheet is 2.8g at the standard serving. Sheets are individually usable without trimming for most sushi applications.

How to use it

Sushi rolls (maki): lay a nori sheet shiny side down on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread a thin layer of cooked sushi rice, add fillings, and roll tightly. Slice with a sharp wet knife.

Handrolls (temaki): hold a half-sheet of nori in your hand, add rice and fillings to one corner, and roll into a cone shape. Eat immediately - handrolls are best consumed fresh before the nori softens.

Onigiri: wrap around rice balls as a grip and flavour layer.

Gunkan maki: wrap a strip around a small rice portion and fill with loose toppings like roe, sea urchin, or finely chopped vegetables.

Snacking: tear into pieces and eat straight from the pack - nori has a satisfying crispness and a clean savoury flavour that makes it an excellent snack on its own.

As a garnish or wrap: cut into thin strips with scissors to scatter over rice bowls, ramen, noodles, and Asian-style salads, or use as a wrap for individual ingredients.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Once opened, seal tightly or transfer to an airtight container - nori absorbs moisture quickly and loses its crispness on exposure to air. If sheets soften, briefly wave over a low flame or place in a dry oven at 100°C for 1 to 2 minutes to restore crispness.
