Volunteers from our Santos Organics team recently lent their helping hands at one of our local suppliers' farms - Green Goddess in Kyogle, which was heavily impacted by recent flooding events. Our team helped weed parts of the farm, including the strawberry patch which has grown many strawberry punnets for Santos Organics over the years!
Green Goddess is a certified organic farm in Kyogle, Northern Rivers, which has supplied our three stores with various produce over the years including greens, herbs, microgreens, fruits and veggies. Their produce is well-known and loved by our community for its flavour, taste and vibrancy. If you have purchased produce from Santos Organics over the past few years, there is a very good chance that it was grown at Green Goddess Farm!
The volunteer day was one small way that Santos Organics could give back to our flood-affected local farmers who give so much and work so hard everyday to feed and nourish our community!
