NEW In-stores! Fresh, Local & Organic Dumplings
This month we are very excited to feature our local Mullumbimby organic dumpling makers Dexter Chou & Linda Hung from Radiance Kitchen and now stock their delicious handmade, vegan and gluten free dumplings in our stores.
Dexter & Linda decided it was time for a change 8 years ago, when they left their busy lives in Taiwan’s capital city of Taipei and moved to Mullumbimby with their 2 young sons. Leaving their own graphic design business, they set up here in Mullumbimby and started a food business selling a range of scrumptious and now iconic dumplings at the Mullumbimby farmers markets.
Dexter & Linda source all of their ingredients from us for their vegan dumplings and create traditional Taiwanese-style dumplings with a Mullumbimby twist. The wrappers are hand made from rice flour and potato starch, which means they are gluten free and the dumplings are filled with only the best quality organic, fresh and local vegetables available, including vegetables picked from their own backyard.
These dumplings are hand rolled with all of the ingredients chopped by hand. Unfortunately, their kitchen and freezers were affected by the recent floods and it has taken some time for them to get back on their feet during these last couple of months but we are so excited to be able to support them now!
The Radiance Kitchen dumplings are currently available frozen and are therefore only available in stores at Santos Organics Byron town, Byron Arts & Industrial Estate and Mullumbimby. They retail for $22.95 for a pack of 8 and sell out quickly.
