Role: Marketing & eCommerce Coordinator

Reporting to: General Manager/Warehouse Manager

Part Time - 24 hours per week

Award Level or Equivalent: Casual General Retail Industry Award Level 4

Role Summary:

As the Marketing & eCommerce Coordinator at Santos Organics, you will work with our Marketing team on the brand, planning and promotion of Santos Organics shops and cafes, as well as the online sales of our products. This role holds accountability for implementing marketing strategy and ensuring that the organisation is in line with the marketing objectives and KPI’s. You will oversee the look and feel of the Santos Organics website and are responsible for generating sales via our online channels through marketing efforts. Under the guidance of the General Manager and Warehouse Manager, you will maintain and update our website design and structure to improve transaction quality and traffic acquisition.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 

The eCommerce & Marketing Coordinator duties include but are not limited to:


  • Update Shopify photos and product descriptions as necessary
  • Eliminate in-store tags from products when necessary 
  • Create and manage online collections for every campaign and update Shopify accordingly
  • Upload new products to the website as necessary

Marketing & PR

  • Implement Santos Organics social media strategy across all social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIN and Twitter  
  • Create and manage Marketing calendar for weekly posting  
  • Content creation, imagery, copywriting assisting external Marketing team with management and planning of campaigns
  • Produce both video and images to turn into posts, reels and stories
  • Create 3-4 social media posts, using Canva for Creatives for Instagram and Facebook and 1-2 weekly for Pinterest and Linkedin 
  • Use Shopify to manage/edit/upload all blog posts on SO website - inc. recipes, Naturopathic articles, local farmer features, etc
  • Utilise analytics to report on SO’s performance across Instagram + Facebook monthly + assisting with quarterly reports
  • Support and promote all elements of the business on a regular basis on social platforms inc. all three stores, cafes, naturopathic dispensaries, eComm/online store, fresh produce, ethics/ new products, values/ about us/ history etc. Specials, new products and displays
  • Regularly liaise with stores for photos/ videos using Whatsapp and email to manage this process
  • Interact with key followers on SO’s social media accounts. Like posts, stories of like-minded businesses, brands, influencers, big health + wellness players etc and follow/ unfollow accounts as needed
  • Manage SO Insta linktree and update regularly to correlate with specials, new content, etc.
  • Communicate with stores to talk about campaigns and videos needed for the week/month
  • Brief and manage direction and plan for our SO content writers to create articles/ recipes that we can share on our channels (social media platforms, website and newsletters) 
  • Manage inbox messages, tags and re-shares on social media accounts, Respond accordingly and punctually to direct messages and ensure that they are distributed via the appropriate channels once deemed relevant and appropriate
  • Direct any positive and negative feedback received on our social media platforms to the appropriate channels once deemed relevant and appropriate
  • Post SO job openings/ employment opportunities on Insta/ FB pages (feed + stories when appropriate)
  • Assist with in-store posters, presentations, shelf talkers and any design-related job when necessary
  • Update the website with new campaigns, includes changing the homepage banner, deleting previous specials and updating the new ones, replacing the recipes, changing the in-bio links 
  • Assisting marketing team with information for EDM (recipes, surveys, links, farmer profiles, etc.) and new campaigns
